Het pad klimt vanuit elzenstruweel langs ruïnes op 1858 m en een cascade die neerstort in de brede kom van Chiapili di Sopra, slingert door velden van rotsblokken en hoge alpenweiden — Alpe Pertica, Alpe Fumetta, Alpe Pianass — terwijl de noordelijke wanden van het Levanne-massief je de hele weg aanstaren. Bovenaan, bij Alpe Comba, sluit het aan op de oude koninklijke jachtweg die ooit het plateau van Nivolet via de Colle della Terra en de Colle della Porta met Noasca verbond.
