The trail crosses open, snow-covered moorland past numerous mountain streams, with views across the valley to the Fanellhorn, Guraletschhorn, and Ampervreilhorn — all overshadowed by the sharp pyramid of the Zervreilahorn, known as the Matterhorn of the Grisons, rising above the Zervreila reservoir.
