Rotten-Weg Bitsch–Lalden
The trail follows the so-called Red Mile — marked by a continuous red stripe on the tarmac along the former Furka-Oberalp railway route — tracing the gently flowing Rhône through a mix of rural and urban landscapes with panoramic views of the surrounding Alps. Passing through Naters, walkers encounter the World Nature Forum, a centre dedicated to nature conservation, before the path continues alongside the river to Lalden.

Kapellenweg - Suone Bodmeri
A procession of ten historic rosary chapels lines the ascending path to the pilgrimage site of "Maria Heimsuchung," a forest chapel above Visperterminen, where the route then joins the Suone Bodmeri — an ancient irrigation channel that carries water from early April through mid-September — before descending through forest back to the village.

Gibidumpass - Rothorn
The trail climbs from the chairlift station at Giw (1962 m) past the Gibidumpass (2201 m) to the Rothorn (2337 m), the first summit along the ridge running south toward the Ochsehorn, where a large wooden cross stands positioned before the backdrop of the Weisshorn. Near the pass, the historic Heido Suon (irrigation channel) follows a stream toward a mountain hut, tracing the old water-management landscape of the Valais hillside.

This high path traces the tree line between Visperterminen and Gspon, threading through old larch forests and alpine flora with sweeping views over the Visp valley. It follows a section of the Great Walserweg — a long-distance route stretching from Zermatt to the Kleinwalsertal — and passes the Gibidumsee and the Gibidumpass along the way.
