The route traverses the panoramic Venter Höhenweg above the Venter Tal before crossing the Tiefenbachergletscher — glacier experience is required — with a rest stop at the Restaurant Tiefenbacher breaking the long haul of ascents and descents to the Braunschweiger Hütte.
