Rotten-Weg Bitsch–Lalden
The trail follows the so-called Red Mile — marked by a continuous red stripe on the tarmac along the former Furka-Oberalp railway route — tracing the gently flowing Rhône through a mix of rural and urban landscapes with panoramic views of the surrounding Alps. Passing through Naters, walkers encounter the World Nature Forum, a centre dedicated to nature conservation, before the path continues alongside the river to Lalden.

The trail climbs from Ried-Mörel through roads and meadows to a panoramic ridgeline path, with a signpost in the village pointing the way toward Nieschbord. From the height of the Panorama-Höhenweg, walkers are rewarded with a sweeping all-round view over the surrounding peaks.

Klettersteig Aletsch
Climbers traverse the western shore of the Gibidum reservoir along iron rungs, log bridges, and natural footholds — and when the lake is full, the route skirts just above the icy glacial water. The highlight is an 80 m long, 40 m high Nepal suspension bridge, from which you can spot the scour marks left by the mighty Aletsch Glacier etched into the surrounding rock.
