Les Crosets-Sur Cou
A winding descent through the Malatry Forest passes quaint alpine chalets typical of the Illiez Valley, crosses the Poijeur Bridge over the Chavalet River, and opens onto spectacular views of the Dents du Midi and Dents Blanches mountain ranges. The route ends at the alpine restaurant Cantine sur Coux, a welcome refuge in the snowy forest.

A steep climb up grassy hillsides above Champéry leads to the Cantine Sur Cou restaurant, perched on a grassy outcropping with panoramic views of the Dents du Midi. The loop continues through Ayerne before descending back to the village via the Planachaux road.

Tour des Dents du Midi
Un bucle de varios días alrededor de un macizo de 3 kilómetros de longitud con siete cumbres que superan los 3.000 metros —dominado por la Haute Cime a 3.257 m— la ruta serpentea por escarpados puertos de montaña, cristalinos lagos alpinos, glaciares, cascadas y bosques, mientras la dentada silueta de los Dents du Midi se cierne en lo alto, visible desde los valles de Illiez y del Ródano por igual. Inaugurado en 1972, este pionero de las rutas de senderismo del Valais hunde sus raíces en una carrera de montaña que marcó el camino durante casi 40 años.
