The KAT Walk climbs from the chic streets of Kitzbühel to the summit of Kitzbüheler Horn at 1,996 m, passing an Alpenblumengarten across open alpine terrain, before a notably steep descent on the northwest side toward Harschbichl and down into St. Johann in Tirol.

Refreshment stops along the way include the Gipfelhaus on the Kitzbüheler Horn, Gasthof Oberaigen, and Rosi's Sonnbergstuben.
