Walserweg - Etappe 12
Leaving the remote Chamonas d'Ela SAC refuge, the route descends steeply through Val Spadlatscha into the Albula Valley near Filisur, passing beneath the Muchetta massif across rugged scree fields and avalanche paths secured by safety chains. The stage finishes at the sunny terrace of Davos Monstein.

Stage 11 of the Walserweg departs from Alp Flix, a high plateau at around 2000 metres used primarily as alpine pasture, and traverses through Parc Ela toward the Chamonas d'Ela CAS hut. The route is rated hard and passes through terrain known for its biodiversity.
