A high-altitude traverse along the ridge dividing Valle di Blenio from Valle Leventina, the route moves through forests, flowering meadows, alpine pastures, rocky crests, and mountain lakes, almost always above 2,000 m. The landscape shifts continuously — from the resinous scent of woodland to the raw grey of high-mountain rock — with mountain huts and alpine settlements punctuating the way.
