Les Crosets-Sur Cou
A winding descent through the Malatry Forest passes quaint alpine chalets typical of the Illiez Valley, crosses the Poijeur Bridge over the Chavalet River, and opens onto spectacular views of the Dents du Midi and Dents Blanches mountain ranges. The route ends at the alpine restaurant Cantine sur Coux, a welcome refuge in the snowy forest.

A steep climb up grassy hillsides above Champéry leads to the Cantine Sur Cou restaurant, perched on a grassy outcropping with panoramic views of the Dents du Midi. The loop continues through Ayerne before descending back to the village via the Planachaux road.

Tour des Dents du Midi
Een meerdaagse lus rond een 3 kilometer lang massief van zeven toppen die allemaal meer dan 3.000 meter hoog zijn — gedomineerd door de Haute Cime op 3.257 m — de route slingert door rotsachtige passen, kristalheldere alpenmeren, gletsjers, watervallen en bossen, terwijl het gekartelde silhouet van de Dents du Midi boven het hoofd torent, zichtbaar vanuit zowel de Illiez- als de Rhônevallei. Ingehuldigd in 1972, traceert deze pionier van de wandeltochten in Valais zijn wortels in een bergloop die het pad bijna 40 jaar lang heeft gevormd.
