The Grießbacher Steig starts from the Hausbergarena with views of the western Loferer Steinberge, then traverses the Hausberg — a densely wooded spur on the southwestern edge of Waidring — from northeast to southwest. Rather than dramatic summit panoramas, the route offers glimpses of the surrounding peaks of the Loferer Steinberge and the Chiemgauer Alps through the forest.
