From the idyllic village of Dobovec — where Kajuh's verses mark a monument and the giant chimney of the Trbovlje thermal power plant looms incongruously over green countryside — a punishing asphalt climb gives way to 2 km of macadam before reaching the 1220 m summit of Zasavje's highest peak. At the top, an old church of St. Neža, a mountain lodge, and a massive RTV transmitter share the ridge, with views stretching across nearly all of Slovenia on a clear day.

The trail threads through hilly, coal-seamed terrain connecting Laško, Hrastnik, Trbovlje, and Zagorje ob Savi, its name drawn from the traditional miners' greeting "SREČNO." Along the way, preserved technical heritage sites, miners' colonies, and an 8-metre statue of the miner Prometheus punctuate a route shaped entirely by the region's deep mining identity.
