This nearly 55-kilometre long-distance trail winds from Wörnsmühl near Fischbachau over the Ursprungpass and on to Thiersee in Austria, passing through meadows, forest, and alongside running water with the mountain world always in view. Bayrischzeller Höhenweg
The trail winds in serpentines through forest above Bayrischzell before opening onto the sunny meadow hollow of the Neuhüttenalm, where the Ursprungtal drops nearly 500 metres below and the view stretches freely into the Tyrolean mountains. Cows still graze the remaining alms on the Seeberg's flanks, a landscape shaped by centuries of alpine farming — and, briefly, by Bavarian soldiers who kept watch here against Tyrolean Gebirgsschützen between 1806 and 1809.

The Trainsjoch sits on the border between Bavaria and Austria, its open, free-standing position making it an exceptional viewpoint — particularly toward the south into the Bavarian Alps. The route passes the Mariandlalm at around 1.200 m, an alpine hut with a sunny terrace, before the final approach steepens sharply just below the summit.

このトレイルはブリュンシュタイン（Brünnstein）を一周する。この淡いオーバーレートカルク（Oberrhätkalk）石灰岩の山頂は、19世紀のあるアルピニストがバイエルン州イン渓谷で最も美しい山の形と称したもので、山頂直下のブリュンシュタインハウス（Brünnsteinhaus）山小屋に至る前に、バウムース（Baumoos）、ゼーオン（Seeon）、ヒンメルモース（Himmelmoos）の牧草地を通過する。運が良ければ、1963年に放たれた5頭のスイス個体を祖先とする20頭から50頭の群れが生息する周辺の地形でアイベックスを目撃できるかもしれない。
