Sentiero Alpino Calanca
Hugging the steep flanks of the ridge separating the Calanca and Misox valleys at nearly 3,000 metres, the trail winds mainly above the tree line through barren high mountain troughs, past alpine roses, sparse larch forest, and beautiful mountain lakes. The route runs hut to hut along the Calanca side of the range, offering plunging panoramic views and the chance to spot wild animals in the surrounding alpine terrain.
