The trail from Logarska Dolina climbs to Kamniško sedlo, a saddle at 1,870 m that divides the Logar Valley to the north from the Kamniška Bistrica Valley to the south, threading through terrain within the Logar Valley Landscape Park, part of the EU's Natura 2000 network. From the saddle, the dramatic ridge of Brana (2,253 m) rises above, its west, east, and north faces dropping steeply away, with vegetated slopes known for alpine flora.
