KAT Walk
The KAT Walk climbs from the chic streets of Kitzbühel to the summit of Kitzbüheler Horn at 1,996 m, passing an Alpenblumengarten across open alpine terrain, before a notably steep descent on the northwest side toward Harschbichl and down into St. Johann in Tirol.

From the summit of the Kitzbüheler Horn — reached by the Hornbahn cable car — the route descends past the Hofer family's alpine flower garden, where mountain blooms gathered from the Caucasus, the Andes, the Pyrenees, and the Himalayas grow alongside local Alpine species. Refreshment stops along the way include the Gipfelhaus on the Kitzbüheler Horn, Gasthof Oberaigen, and Rosi's Sonnbergstuben.
