Zirbenweg
A high-altitude traverse at around 2,000 metres through one of the largest Swiss stone pine forests in Europe, the trail threads between centuries-old trees with open views across the Inntal valley to the Karwendel mountains. Along the way, hikers pass Europe's highest botanical show garden and the Boschebenhütte, with alpine roses in bloom making June and July a particularly vivid time to walk it.

Glungezer-Geier-Weg
The Glungezer-Geier-Weg (AV 335) crosses from the Glungezer Hütte at 2,610 m over seven successive Tuxer Alps summits to the Lizumer Hütte at 2,019 m, forming the most serious alpine terrain on the multi-day Inntaler Höhenweg. The route demands sure-footedness and alpine experience, and the area can carry temporary access restrictions linked to a military training ground.

Lanser Steig
The Lanser Steig descends the north face of the Patscherkofel to the Lanser Alm at 1718 m, a renovated stone building where the terrace looks out across the Inntal to the Nordkette. The path transitions from open meadow terrain to a narrow woodland trail before crossing the Ramsbach on the final approach to the alm.
