Via Sbrinz
The Via Sbrinz follows an ancient mule track once used by muleteers carrying wheels of Sbrinz cheese over the Grimselpass to markets in northern Italy, a trade route that flourished in the late Middle Ages. Today the path threads past three lakes and two dams, with the Oberhasli hydroelectric works visible along the way.

Triftbrücke - Trifthütte
The route crosses the Triftbrücke, a suspension bridge built in the Nepalese three-cable style, then climbs through a landscape of glaciers, mountains, and several 3000m peaks to reach the shimmering Triftsee. The trail ends at the Trifthütte, perched at 2521m beneath the Hinter Tierberg, a hut that has stood since 1864.
