Les alpages du Lachat d'en Haut
The route climbs through forest on the recently restored Sentier des Gardes et des Harkis — a path of remarkable heritage value — before breaking out onto the high summer pastures of Lachat d'en Haut, where a panoramic view opens over the Aiguille de Varan (2547 m), the Aravis range, and the town of Sallanches below.

A loop through the heart of Haute-Savoie, this route passes through varied landscapes of alpine pastures and dense forests, with views stretching across the Aravis and Mont Blanc ranges.

Boucle du Petit Pâtre
From the hamlet of Les Mouilles, the route climbs through forest before breaking out onto the open Plateau des Bénés at around 1800m, where a 360° panorama sweeps across the Aravis, the Vallée de l'Arve, and the full face of the Mont Blanc massif. A broad ridge path leads to the Cabane du Petit Pâtre, a traditional shepherd's hut set beneath the 2236m peak of Grand Croisse Baulet, where cows and sheep graze the alpine pastures.

Le Mont d'Arbois - Mont Joux
The route passes one of the last working alpine farms surrounded by meadow wildflowers — gentians, cowslips, and buttercups — before climbing to the Mont Joux orientation table, where an unobstructed panorama of the Mont Blanc massif opens up. Along the way, the path also looks out over a golf course spread across the high plateau below.

Boucle des Bénés
The route climbs to a plateau at around 1,800m, tracing a wide ridge between the eastern slopes of the Aravis range and the Arve valley, where the view of the Mont-Blanc massif is unobstructed. This sunny hillside, shaped by traditional mountain agriculture, opens the whole of the Mont-Blanc region to view.
