Weg der Schweiz ist der Name der Wanderroute 99 entlang des Urnersees. Der Weg wurde 1991 zur 700-Jahr-Feier der Schweiz angelegt. Der Weg beginnt am Rütli und endet in Brunnen, ist 35 km lang und wurde von sämtlichen Schweizer Kantonen gestaltet. Jedem der Kantone wurde ein durch Grenzsteine markierter Wegabschnitt anvertraut, wobei sich dessen Länge nach der Anzahl seiner Einwohner mit 5 Millime

Along the way it passes the Rütli meadow, the Brennwald Reserve, and the sun terrace of Alp Gitschenen, threading through the cradle of Switzerland alongside raging waterfalls and mighty mountain panoramas.

Il Wildheupfad si snoda attraverso ariose foreste di abeti e attraverso pendii ricoperti di fiori selvatici sopra il verde smeraldo Lago di Uri, sui fianchi del Rophaien vicino a Flüelen. Lungo il percorso, traccia una tradizione vivente: i contadini tagliano ancora l'erba a mano su questi ripidi pendii «Wildi», un'antica pratica di fienagione che al tempo stesso garantisce il foraggio invernale per il bestiame e preserva la biodiversità montana nel Canton Uri.
