Des châtaigneraies centenaires bordent ce sentier de grande randonnée qui serpente à travers la vallée de l'Eisacktal, reliant les versants ensoleillés entre Vilpiano et Bressanone le long d'un itinéraire qui trace une partie de l'ancienne Via Romea Germanica. En chemin, des châteaux, des abbayes et des fermes proposant des produits à zéro kilomètre ponctuent un paysage de forêts de feuillus, de vignobles et de sommets des Dolomites.
