Lavanttaler Höhenweg
This circular long-distance trail loops around the lower and middle Lavant valleys, starting and finishing at the market town of Lavamünd (348 m), with its highest point on the Koralpe at the Großer Speikkogel (2140 m), which offers a panoramic view. Every two hours or so along the route, one of 23 partially unmanned checkpoints marks the way, with trail signage maintained by the Austrian Alpine Association section Wolfsberg.
