Mittelweg je spolu s Westweg a Ostweg jednou ze tří dálkových turistických tras vedoucích severojižním směrem přes Schwarzwald. Vede z Pforzheim do Waldshut. Tato přibližně 230 kilometrů dlouhá hřebenová trasa byla zřízena v roce 1903 a od té doby ji udržuje a spravuje Schwarzwaldverein. Jejím značením je červený kosočtverec s bílým pruhem na bílém podkladu.
